On December 15, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy released the Blueprint for South Korea's energy structure, which predicted that renewable energy will account for 41.9 percent of the country's total installed power generation capacity by 2034. According to the blueprint, South Korea's total power-generating capacity will increase to 185.3 gigawatts by 2034.
